Every member of Leadership Connection must agree to the Acceptable Use Policy, which lays out the ground rules for participating in our closed, members-only forum. It covers guidelines such as keeping discussions professional, protecting privacy, and respecting the community structure. For example, you agree not to post student or staff names, to avoid sharing private information, and to keep the environment closed—meaning you won’t redistribute forum content outside the platform without permission.

By confirming your agreement, you acknowledge the behavioral standards that foster respectful and productive collaboration.
Protect Member Privacy and Compliance
Annual reaffirmation ensures everyone understands and commits to the privacy requirements—critical in an educational leadership community.
Legal and Policy Updates
Our policies evolve to address new legal obligations (e.g., privacy laws, IRB-approved research protocols) and community needs. Agreeing each year guarantees you’ve reviewed the latest version
Why Agreement Is Required Every July 1
Alignment with Our Membership Year
Our fiscal and membership cycle runs July 1–June 30. Resetting consents on July 1 aligns policy acceptance with your annual membership renewal.
Ensure Awareness of Changes
Any updates made during the previous year become effective July 1. Annual re-agreement prompts you to review modifications before you continue using the platform.
Consistent Record-Keeping
Having a clear timestamp for each member’s acceptance helps us demonstrate compliance and maintain accurate records.
How It Works
Login Prompt
On or after July 1, when you sign in to Leadership Connection, you’ll see a pop-up asking you to review and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy.
Review the Policy
All policy details are displayed in full. You can scroll through or download the PDF for offline reference.
Click “I Agree”
Once you’ve read and agree to the terms, click the I Agree button to proceed.
Access Restored
Agreeing grants you uninterrupted access to all community features—posting questions, joining committees, sharing resources, and more.
Note: If you do not click “I Agree,” your access to Leadership Connection will be suspended until you complete this annual step.
